PC Specialist

• Configures new and existing computers for deployment throughout the business using established procedures.
• Maintains software standards and/or images for computers.
• Maintains knowledge of current computer hardware and software technologies and applications.
• Resolves technical issues including hardware problems, LAN connectivity and software application support including Windows operating systems and office applications.
• Keeps records of computer and related item inventories, including asset tracking and software licenses. This may be accomplished with a database.
• Assists in setting and documenting computer technology standards.
• Assists Help Desk in resolving technical issues and track issues within call management software.
• Provides orientation to new hires.
• Coordinates support and purchasing activities with outside vendors as needed.
• Completes additional duties are requested.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Associates degree or technical certifications in computer hardware support, computer science or information technology or related fields.
• Technical proficiency in a Windows environment including operating system and office suite.
• Understanding of networking and telecommunications.
• Minimum 2 years experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently towards a solution.
